Introduction

We've put you through the ringer, testing more than 30 different pairs of running shoes. We've had testers run at least 100 miles in each pair, testing the shoes on all types of surfaces and terrain. Now we're ready to unveil our top picks for women's running shoes with wide feet.

We used three testers to determine the best running shoes for wide feet.

We tested the shoes on three different types of feet. One tester had wide and arched feet, one had flat and wide feet, and another had flat and narrow feet. In order for a shoe to be considered the best running shoe for wide feet, it would have to work well across these three testing conditions.

To test each shoe, we took them out on runs of different distances over varied terrain from easy trails to challenging hills to see how they responded under pressure. To find out which shoes were best at keeping our testers' toes happy during their workout sessions (and long after), here's what we looked at:

  • The overall comfort level of each pair when worn without socks

  • How well they fit around the ankle bone

  • Whether or not they caused any blisters or hot spots during any given run

All three testers have wide feet.

The three of us also ran on a treadmill, on grass, and on trails in each pair. We tested six pairs of shoes for this review.

We tested each pair over the course of a few months to get an accurate sense of how they felt and performed in different conditions, including hot summer days and cold winter ones.

All three testers have wide feet: one can wear anywhere from a women's size 11W to 12W (US) comfortably; another is comfortable in men's sizes 10W or 11M; and the third is somewhere between a women's size 7M and 8M, depending on the brand and style of shoe.

For each shoe, we had one tester with wide and arched feet, one tester with flat and wide feet, and one tester with flat and narrow feet.

We had one tester with wide and arched feet, one tester with flat and wide feet, and one tester with flat and narrow feet. Each of them tested a variety of shoes to find the best fit for their unique foot type and running style.

Testers ran at least 100 miles in each pair.

We spent a lot of time running in each pair, but we didn't just run for one mile and then decide which shoe was best. Instead, we ran at least 100 miles in each pair to make sure they were comfortable and durable enough to last a long time.

We also wore each pair in different conditions so that we could find out which shoes worked best for each runner's individual needs. Some runners like to run on trails or gravel roads where there are more rocks and uneven surfaces; others prefer pavement because it can be smoother than trails or gravel roads (but still contains small stones). We wanted to test these shoes on all different types of surfaces so that you know whether your favorite shoe will suit your style when it comes time for your next run!

We had each tester run on pavement, grass, a treadmill, and trails.

It's important to run on different surfaces before you buy a pair of running shoes. The cushioning in the sole and tread pattern on each shoe is designed for specific conditions, so it's best to test them out before committing to a pair.

The main surfaces we tested these wide-width running shoes on were pavement, grass, a treadmill, and trails (both hardpack dirt paths and soft gravel). Each surface provided a unique experience that can only be compared if both shoes are used under the same conditions so it's important to try as many as possible before buying one!

Our testing process is thorough to ensure we find the best running shoes for you.

We test each of our chosen running shoes with a variety of testers, who each have different needs and preferences. For example, one tester is a beginner runner, while another is more experienced. This way, we can see how well each shoe will fit your needs as you learn to run or if you're an experienced runner. We also test all of our products on different surfaces so that you know they'll work in any situation!

We also make sure that we test durability very thoroughly because we know nothing's worse than investing in a pair of running shoes only to have them fall apart after just one run! Our testers don't simply wear the shoes through their first use; instead, they continue wearing them until they are completely worn down. This ensures that if you purchase this product from us at some point in the future (like today! ), it will perform just as well for years after purchase!

Finally, we take comfort seriously when testing out new products, and this means both how comfortable it feels during initial use as well as how long-lasting that feeling lasts over time.

Final thought

We hope this information has been helpful for you to make a decision about which shoe is right for you. Remember that your feet may change over time, so don’t be afraid to try on different sizes and styles. If in doubt, ask our experts or check out other reviews from runners with similar needs as yours.
